You have bethesda offer 30-40% of the cut per mod sale." Okay, that one doesn't make much sense to me. "I know it irks me that someone is making a living off of my and others hard work. Beyond the perv mods, there are still a bunch that I doubt we would ever see on.

Largely due to the traffic that the Nexus gets, but also due the fact that the Nexus will allow the mods that will not. They will still offer the free option for those that do not wish to sell their work, but they wont close it off from those that want to make a living at it, and if they offer a fair % it will happen the CEO's, Share Holders, and Modders will make sure it happens.ĭonta1979 Dukman donta1979 I see the nexus eventually getting fully cut out of the equation. and how much money can be made selling mods. It wont happen overnight granted, but you have no idea how much money the nexus makes just off of adds and subscriptions. You have bethesda offer 30-40% of the cut per mod sale, put a cease and desist letter to the nexus. They now have, the geck/creation kit is built into it now, you can publish your mods on there, then all the tutorials that will go up on their forums, over time people will stop using the nexus as a modder I know it irks me that someone is making a living off of my and others hard work.

I see them slowly cutting them out, think about it, the steam paid mods was an experiment, the script extender on steam is another experiment. If Bethesda said no more Nexus mods allowed, I personally would say no more Bethesda allowed for my wallet, but I doubt that would happen. Not to mention, The Nexus has thousands of mods available whereas Bethesda currently has dozens, not to mention there are mods that would be deemed inappropriate. The Nexus is far easier to use than the way Bethesda has it set up. Dukman donta1979 I see the nexus eventually getting fully cut out of the equation.
